The journal is devoted to deposits of ore and non-metallic minerals, the conditions of their formation and patterns of spatial distribution, including the relationship of ore formation processes with the deep structure of the Earth and various geodynamic settings.

The journal publishes materials devoted to the fluid regime, sources of metals and fluids, age, physicochemical parameters, isotopic characteristics and geochemical settings of ore deposition; the evolution of ore-forming systems, radiogeology and radioecology; economic problems of industrial development of ore regions and deposits; the deep structure of the Earth and geodynamic processes in connection with ore formation; patterns of placement of metallogenic zones and mineral deposits; geology and localization of large and unique ore and non-metallic deposits.
